The good news is that with holiday ownership at The Lakelands, we’ve made it a little easier to turn the dream into reality.
Holiday ownership gives you the opportunity to own a beautiful apartment, located in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just for the number of weeks you want to visit. For the remainder of the year the apartment is owned by other like-minded holiday makers who share the costs of maintaining the apartments and the on-site facilities.
Additionally, owners at The Lakelands have the benefit of year-round access to the on-site leisure centre comprising a swimming pool, children’s pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room facilities.

Ownership at The Lakelands can either be on a short-term basis for just 5 years, or full term until 2066.
While availability at The Lakelands is generally very limited there are some owners who have enjoyed many years of great holidays at the resort, but are now looking to offer their weeks for re-sale*. There is also a limited number of Club unsold weeks available to purchase.

We have been using timeshare for 12 years and have stayed at about 25 different locations. During this time we have repeatedly returned to Ambleside (including Lakelands). Ambleside is the only location we return to on a regular basis.
Our timeshare stays have been worldwide and recently we decided to buy a week at Lakelands. The unit is Brathay 9 and we consider it to be the most comfortable timeshare apartments we have used. Well done and many thanks.
